| We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) – MEP in a construction company who typically oversee the entire MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) scope of projects, and will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and management of all MEP aspects of construction projects, ensuring that all systems are designed, installed, and maintained to the highest standards, within budget, and on schedule.
Scope/Accountabilities of the role:
- Project Management : Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets for MEP work, ensuring adherence to project timelines and financial targets. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions. Lead and manage MEP teams, including site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors. Coordinate with other departments (civil, structural, etc.) to ensure seamless project execution. Prepare and review detailed project reports, including progress reports, cost reports, and risk assessments.
- Quality Assurance and Control : Implement and monitor quality assurance and control procedures for MEP work. Conduct regular inspections of MEP installations to ensure compliance with standards and specifications. Address and resolve any quality issues promptly and effectively.
- Procurement : Participate in the selection and procurement of MEP materials and equipment. Manage relationships with MEP suppliers and subcontractors. Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to the project site.
- Liaison : Maintain effective communication with consultants throughout the project lifecycle. Address queries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Cost Management : Develop and manage MEP project budgets. Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities. Prepare and review cost reports and invoices.

Age : upto 40 yrs
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Experience : Minimum 10-15 years of experience in MEP project management, with a focus on construction. Proven experience in managing large-scale MEP projects. Experience in High-rise residential projects is mandatory. Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems and building codes. Should have handled multiple sites. Experience in working with subcontractors and MEP consultants. |
