    AGM – Safety

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) – Safety in a construction company who typically oversees and ensures the safety of all construction activities at our multiple sites. He will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a strong safety culture, while managing a team of safety professionals.

    Scope/Accountabilities of the role:

    • Safety Compliance : Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, standards, and industry best practices. Stay updated on changes in safety regulations and industry standards. Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, audits, training, and incidents.
    • Team Leadership & Management : Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of safety professionals. Set performance goals for team members and provide regular feedback. Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively.
    • Training : Conduct safety training sessions for employees and contractors to promote a culture of safety.
    • Incident Management : Investigate accidents or incidents, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions.
    • Safety Audits : Perform regular safety inspections and audits to ensure adherence to safety standards.
    • Emergency Preparedness : Maintain safety-related records, including training certifications, inspection reports, conduct periodic mock drills covering different scenarios and incident logs.
    • Documentation : Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
    • Collaboration : Work with project managers, contractors, and external agencies to address safety concerns.

    Communication & Reporting : Communicate safety information effectively to all levels of the organization. Prepare and present safety reports to management. Act as a point of contact for safety-related inquiries.

    Competencies/ Key attributes

    • Proficiency in Excel, Word and Powerpoint
    • Team player
    • Good communication skills

    Age : upto 40 yrs

    Education : Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety. Certifications like OSHA, NEBOSH, or equivalent are preferred.

    Experience : Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction safety management. Experience in High-rise residential projects is mandatory. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure. Extensive experience in construction safety management. Strong knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and industry best practices. Should have handled multiple sites. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of ISO 45001 (or equivalent) is a plus.

    AGM – MEP

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) – MEP in a construction company who typically oversee the entire MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) scope of projects, and will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and management of all MEP aspects of construction projects, ensuring that all systems are designed, installed, and maintained to the highest standards, within budget, and on schedule.

    Scope/Accountabilities of the role:

    • Project Management : Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets for MEP work, ensuring adherence to project timelines and financial targets. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions. Lead and manage MEP teams, including site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors. Coordinate with other departments (civil, structural, etc.) to ensure seamless project execution. Prepare and review detailed project reports, including progress reports, cost reports, and risk assessments.
    • Quality Assurance and Control : Implement and monitor quality assurance and control procedures for MEP work. Conduct regular inspections of MEP installations to ensure compliance with standards and specifications. Address and resolve any quality issues promptly and effectively.
    • Procurement : Participate in the selection and procurement of MEP materials and equipment. Manage relationships with MEP suppliers and subcontractors. Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to the project site.
    • Liaison : Maintain effective communication with consultants throughout the project lifecycle. Address queries and concerns promptly and professionally.

    Cost Management : Develop and manage MEP project budgets. Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities. Prepare and review cost reports and invoices.

    Age : upto 40 yrs

    Education : Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

    Experience : Minimum 10-15 years of experience in MEP project management, with a focus on construction. Proven experience in managing large-scale MEP projects. Experience in High-rise residential projects is mandatory. Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems and building codes. Should have handled multiple sites. Experience in working with subcontractors and MEP consultants.
